Website Statistics and Keeping Track of the Visitors to Your Site
Adwords-SEO Consultancy started working on the website for GBMaps. at the begining of September 2008. You can see the results of our efforts below.
Google Adwords provides you with a relatively basic form of analysis(without much work at least). Each domain we host has access to a system called MatrixStats. No-one else can see your statistics so all your information is kept secure.
What it does for you is let you know exactly what your visitors are doing on your site. In brief, you can see where your visitors have come from, what they typed into the search engines to find your site, how long they stayed on each page and where they left your site to go to another. There are many other tools within the statistics software that enable you to analyse your data as in depth as you want.
Click here to login to a MatrixStats installation that has been placed on a ‘dummy’ domain. You can check out the system without causing any harm so go have a look, put in some different date ranges to get an idea of the types of data that are available.
